It all depends on your point of view!  Do you see a duck?  Or do you see a rabbit?  Clever Amy Krouse Rosenthal has drawn pictures that can be about a duck or a rabbit depending on how you see things.

This is a great read aloud for story time.  The cover offers the opening volley as the bill of the duck starts to quack at the same time the rabbit begins to sniff.  You can truly look at it both ways.

"Hey, look!  A duck!"  "That's not a duck.  That's a rabbit."  Children will be laughing and calling it as they see it as the pages turn, the pictures change and the debate goes on.  In each illustration the possibility for the duck or the rabbit to be the right answer is before you whether eating a piece of bread or about to munch a carrot.

Let the kids describe what they see and then show them how the other side views it.  Truly an eye opening book about seeing it from someone else's point of view.
