Dino-Baseball

Bats and mitts ready? It’s time for the big game as the Rib-Eye Reds travel to the home field of the Green Sox for Dino-baseball!

Rhymes and raptors, home runs and herbivores, strike outs, an umpire’s call, the seventh inning stretch (as dinosaur fans line up for bathroom breaks), the score goes back and forth – will the game go into extra innings?

The expressions on each dino’s face, the excitement of the game, the identifying characteristics of different species are all shown in Barry Gott’s acrylic paintings. Lisa Wheeler’s poetry echoes the rhythms of the game and the excitement of the crowd.

And after the Dino-Baseball season is over, what next? Be sure to check out Dino-Basketball to see which dinosaurs are hoop-stars!
