This book gives the young a sensory approach to learning this dark color. Full color photographs invite the reader to interact with things that represent the color black by touch and lifting flaps. I particularly liked the way the sense of smell was included with a scratch and stiff component accompanying a picture of licorice.   The result is a page that the reader can almost taste!   This touch and feel book is a fun time for all of the senses!    (Board book, 14 pages)
