Mr. Rabbit hops into bed as the train pulls out of the station. Slowly the train gets moving and then it's off on its journey. Mr. Rabbit rises in the morning and does all of his normal business. We see other animals on the train as well. At Mr. Rabbit's side is a young African American girl. Together they are making their way through the world and as the train arrives at the final destination it is revealed that Mr. Rabbit is actually this little girl's stuffed friend keeping her company as she travels all by herself to visit her grandparents. This is a wonderful read aloud.
