A Book

Reviewed by Administrator on December 18, 2009.

Once upon a time there was a book and inside that book there was a family. When the book was closed, the family slept and when the book opened, it was morning and the family woke up and did their morning chores. One day the little girl who lived in the book asked a big question. What is my story she said. Everyone in her family had their own story but she did not know her story. So, she went looking in the book. There were all sorts of possibilities for her story. It could be a mystery or historical fiction or even something like Alice in Wonderland. She looked and looked and then she found her answer. She would be the author of her own story.

This is a great book to start a conversation about telling our own stories. The author does a great job of making a story out of the mundane things we do every day.
