It's Sunday in the park and one by one the relatives are gathering to have a picnic and share the afternoon together. Grandma brings her biscuits and chicken and everyone hopes Aunt Martha doesn't bring that apple pie-it's always so dry but no one has the heart to tell her. Even if they weren't bringing food to share (and some don't bring food), they do bring themselves and all the gifts their sparkling unique human gifts. The book is a delight and the love and sense of connectedness will reach out to anyone who opens the pages.
