Arthur Writes a Story

Arthur's teacher, Mr. Ratburn, tells the students they must write a story for homework. The important thing is to write about something they know. The story needs a beginning, a middle and an end. Arthur goes home and writes a story. His critic, D.W., reports that this story is boring because Arthur lives a dull life. She urges him to write about something exciting like getting an elephant. This writing thing turns out to be really tricky business.
