The Seventh Level

If you loved solving puzzles in The Calder Games or The Wright Three, here comes more fun for you! Travis Raines has just headed out of class to his locker to get his project and when he opens the locker up he finds a blue envelope with his name on it. Inside there is a note: "You have been chosen for this game of sorts. Trust us. You will want to do." Could it be possible? Could this be an invitation to compete for a chance to join The Legend, a secret society at Lauer Middle School? This is beyond Travis' wildest dreams. The puzzles are just beginning though as Travis finds himself not only solving the puzzles and doing the tasks, but the question begins to loom of what exactly is going on here and just who he can really trust. In the background of this story is Randall who has a reputation for nearly killing a boy in their class years ago. Randall seems to be the quintessential bully but all is not always what it seems. An interesting puzzle to solve all the way around. 298 pages Ages 8 -12
