Good for Reluctant Readers?
Part of a Series

Fuzzy friends Down Girl and Sit are back in a fun new adventure that plops them right in the middle of a country ranch. For two city dogs who love chasing squirrels, sleeping on soft pillows, and air conditioning, it’s a whole new world out there. The girls set out to prove their mettle to their new friend, farm dog Git Along, and find a ton of adventure when they set off into the Wild West. Along the way, they run into barking squirrels (prairie dogs), ugly dogs (coyotes), and a stampede of cattle. They manage to impress Git Along, but they can’t help wondering if they’ll ever get back to their comfy neighborhood and their old lives of leisure. Young readers will beg for more of the goofy pups and their antics, especially for the fun illustrations. 54 pages.
