Max loves to experiment with things like marshmallows and to invent things like an army of alien erasers that do whatever he wants them to do. He keeps a record of all of his experiments, the scientific ones and the people ones, in his special journal. Unfortunately, not all of life can be explained and that includes why his parents are fighting so much and why they have decided to separate. Done with plenty of illustrations and comics along the way, this is a wonderfully boy-savvy way to help young male readers with difficult feelings.
