Melvin Beederman has been plucked from the orphanage and enrolled in the Superheroes Academy. Now, armed with his superpowers, he will fight for right. In this adventure Melvin has received word from the band, the Grateful Fred, that someone may be after them. They ask Melvin to come to the concert tonight to protect them. Melvin who can fly though with some difficulty on the take-offs, enlists the aid of his friend, Candace. Together they take on Joe the Bad Guy who is having some difficulty himself since it's Friday and he can't decide if he should be sinister or devious today. It's hilarious and filled with enough action and silliness to capture the most reluctant reader. This is Book Three in the series.
