Anastasia Krupnik, age ten, is trying to get a handle on life. She makes lists to help herself deal with the ups and downs and she's willing to explore new things to make her life better. For example, she attends classes to become Catholic so she can wear a wedding dress and get rid of the name she is stuck with. Luckily she learns in the nick of time that she'll have to confess her sins once she's part of this whole Catholic thing and somehow that doesn't sound like it's going to work for her. Then her parents announce there is going to be a new baby. Anastasia isn't too crazy about this idea. More lists result. Hilarious.
