This is a pop-up book for "children of all ages," so it's okay for the parents to enjoy it as much as the kids do. Incredible paper engineering has gone into making this very artistic pop-up book that has a yellow square to find on every page. Can you find the square? Each page in this book is a work of art, and it's art that a child can touch. David Carter is influenced by the color and shapes used by Alexander Calder in his mobiles. This book is a part of a series and if you look through the book, you'll eventually find a blue two, a red dot, 600 black dots and a yellow square. There's still one book left to be written and that's the white book. Great fun especially for the "readers" who need something to "do" with a book. It's recommended for three years old and up because the art work is fragile, but if your toddler is gentle with a book then this is a great one too.
