Whittington

Bernie is a man of great compassion who takes in all sorts of stray and wounded animals. His barn is filled with ducks, hens, rats and horses when a cat named Whittington appears and asks to join the family. Every animal in the barn has a story to tell and the children who come to visit the animals have stories, too. Ben is dyslexic and he struggles to learn to read. Abby had hearing problems and struggled with grief. But, it's the cat's story that everyone gathers to hear and he tells the tale of Dick Whittington who made a fortune because of a cat.
