Whitefish Will Rides Again!

Whitefish Will is the best darned sheriff they ever had up in Whitefish, Montana. He was so strong varmints would turn and run with just one peep at those muscles. In fact, he was "so good at rassling rustlers that soon there were no more rustlers to rassle." So Whitefish retired and took up the harmonica. While Whitefish was busy with torturing anyone within earshot, Bad Bart came to town and started making trouble. Now, it was hard to make trouble in Whitefish because everyone there is just so darned pleasant and easygoing. But Bad Bart tried very hard and finally when he'd tried everything he decided to burn down the town. What to do? Get Whitefish Will back on the job. What a showdown. The illustrations for this romp are done by Mort Drucker, the guy who has drawn so many covers for Mad Magazine. You'll recognize the style. This is a great lesson in not rising to a bully's bait.
