Where Else in the Wild?

What a cool book. THis is a brilliant nature book that combines poetry with vivid photographs containing hidden animals. So, you get the fun of searching the photographs and lifting the flap to find the hidden animal if you can't find it and the gentle joy of reading the complementary poem.

One Great Bound is one of the first poems describing an animal that can take great leaps and whose coat turns white in the winter. If you search the wintry photograph on the facing page, you'll find a little white rabbit crouched in the snow between the bare branches of the woods. Inside the flap is information on the snowshoe hare. There is so much in this book to inspire and inform. Beautiful.
