This is a great series of books with pages that are designed to be read by the adult (lots of words) and then pages designed to be read by the child (not so many words), so you can take turns reading to each other. Isn’t that wonderful? In this case, for the beginning readers who want a book with facts, the subject is dinosaurs. What is a dinosaur? What color were they? Did they eat rocks? What does “saurus” mean? It’s a perfect way to show those picky readers that the world is full of books that are just right for them.
