Do you have a child who is afraid of thunder? Well, join Grandma as she teaches her young granddaughter how to make a thunder cake. You know, by the time you get that cake done, it's amazing how the thunder seems to have passed. The recipe is included.

A loud clap of thunder sounds in the distance and that's just enough to send this granddaughter under the bed to hide.  Her wise grandmother has a plan.  Their cheer farm with its slightly wacky goats and geese is about to get a soaking but before the rain comes Babushka and her granddaughter will need to collect all the ingredients they need, including the special ones, to make a Thunder Cake.

Boom! There goes another crash of thunder.  Oh, where is that old Kick Cow?  They'll get milk from Kick Cow and eggs from the chickens.  Then off to the garden for tomatoes and secret ingredients.  Boom!  Crash!  Ten miles away that one was.

When you have the love and solid reassurance of your Babushka all around you, you have exactly the ingredients you need to make a Thunder Cake and send those scared feelings out into the storm where they can fly free and away.
