After camping out for a week in the house in his brand new blue and green tent, Harry is excited when his mother suggests he might want to try the backyard for a change. Harry, by the way, is a cat. This backyard camping is everything he imagined. He hikes to the edge of the yard and roasts s'mores around the campfire calling them marshmallow sandwiches. When it's time for bed, he unzips the tent, brushes his teeth in lemonade and heads in for the night. Until......yep, you guessed it....noises...night noises. We're talking wolves, wildcats and the inevitable monster. Anyone want to go back in the house? It's a simple, fun adventure book with a little sister and a happy ending. The illustration of the cat is a bit off-putting but the story is entertaining and moves quickly. Ages 4-7 A Holiday House Reader Level 2 32 pages
