The Best Birthday Party Ever

Our birthday girl is just shy of her sixth birthday by 5 months, 3 weeks, 2 days, and 8 hours when the story begins. As the story progresses, so do her plans for a birthday to rival the festivities of a royal wedding. Of course the big day finally arrives (after a book full of countdowns and over-the-top party plans) with a more realistically scaled down soiree, which turns out to be perfect in the birthday girl’s estimation (which still doesn’t stop her from imagining next year’s birthday).
