Ten little mice, one big hungry snake add up to a story with a tale, or a tail?
One warm day ten little mice go out to play in the meadow. As the sun heats up, the mice grow tired and lie down to take a nap. They forget all about watching out for the snake. Mr. Snake comes slithering out in search of lunch. He happens upon a small group of four sleeping mice and decides to count them and put them in a jar before he eats them. One, two, three, four and on he goes finding more mice, counting them and tucking them neatly into his jar.
Is this the end? Have the mice met their match?
Fun to count and then to uncount!
