Minerva Louise on Christmas Eve

Good natured chicken Minerva Louise does not have the best eyesight in the world as she admires a snowy house decorated for the holidays. When what to her wondering eyes should appear a herd of goats lands on a rooftop, she admires their fancy horns and greets Mr. Farmer and his truck with no wheels. She worries when she sees Mr. Farmer seemingly "fall" down the chimney. She follows him inside the house to be sure he isn't hurt. This lovely, bumbling chicken benignly misunderstands the entire proceedings in the most delightful way and is rewarded as we all should be with a present....and it's all in the eye of the beholder...so to speak. This would make a great read aloud for a preschool story time. 32 pages Ages 4-7
