"Unless I can sleep with my parents," says Jake, "I won't close my eyes and I won't go to bed." What's a parent going to do? Jakes parents try to hold their line but night after night they are losing sleep. Finally they tell their little son, "We'll sleep with you son, just not in our bed/is there some other place we can try out instead?"
Talk about the fatal last words. Jake has all kinds of hilarious places in mind where he would like to try sleeping. Up on the roof, in the tub, on the stairs, maybe in the car or in one of the garbage cans.
A loyal dog and a comfy teddy round out the family as the rambunctious fun rumbles on through the night as long as Jake's imagination can keep coming up with brilliant new ideas for where they should all curl up for a good night's sleep.
