Jackhammer Sam

Jackhammer Sam is proud of his job, his belly and the tricks he has up his sleeve. As he works his way through the city, he atta-rattas and binga bongs the subways, the sidewalks and most fun of all the streets. Everywhere there are slabs of concrete that need a good jackhammer and Sam is the man. The story is filled with a sing-songy rhyme with some choppa choppas and some dinga dongs.

David Catrow adds his comical genius to the whole operation adding the occasional hilarious canine or feline passenger in a passing car or delivering us to an entirely new version of the Milky Way. It's a trip all the way around. He's Jackhammer Sam and he's singin' his song. Join in the fun with a ping and a pong. Great read aloud. Ages 4-8
