Four silly chickens are safe in their coop one day when they see a wolf sneak into the farmyard. Pwockkkkkk they say and off they tumble, slamming the door behind them and heading into the woods to hide. Now, they are afraid to go home. One by one these cowardly chickens admit their fear and decide to go deeper into the forest instead of daring to go home. It's one big flutting, flipping, sinking, stretching, squealing, squirming, squawking mess from there on out. Will these wacky members of the poultry family pull it together? Will they ever find their clucky, plucky courage? Not before they splash and bump and roll and finally face their foe. Ages 4-7
