They made their own princess. They gave her red "chucks" and a pink skirt and a really big sword so she could fight monsters and ghosts and other scrary things that go bump in the night.
Libby and May found each other on the playground one day when they were ten years old. It only took few minutes before Libby was drawing and May was thinking of what the character could do. For the next few years they spent wonderful hours together drawing their own comic book heroine and sending her into battle after battle. They named her Princess X.
Then came the night when Libby's mom drove off the bridge in the rain and Libby drowned. Or did she?
