The Midville Mudhens are about to hold tryouts.  Frank Einstein and his best friend, Watson, and their two robot pals, Klink and Klank are tyring to figure out how to help their friend Janegoodall make the team.  She just needs to throw faster from the pitcher's mound.

Back home the team disappears into the lab and begins to consider all the systems of the human body and just how they might be able to supersize them.  Circulatory?  Digestive? Muscular and skeletal?  On overdrive.....

Across town, T. Edison and his assistant Mr. Chimp are inventing a way to control the brains of everyone on the planet.

This is one part anatomy text book and another part lunatic asylum.

Hilarious, secretively educational...clearly Jon Scieszka is trying to take over the world.

Perfect for reluctant readers who don't want to learn about character development or sentence structure.  Just give them a good time and nobody will get hurt.  Thank goodness this man uses his powers for good.
