Halloween is only two days away and Posey and her friends are excited.  There is so much about Halloween that is fun but it turns out there are some scary things too and they make somes of the kids uncomfortable.  Scary things like the ghost out in front of Hank's Store and the seeds inside of a pumpkin that can feel just like witches' brains and of course an ogre's eyeball.

But Posey has her tutu and whever she puts it on she becomes Princess Posey and she can "go anywhere and do anything."

Does that include making Monster Stew?

Big font, eight page chapters and the occasional reassuring illustration combine to make this a comfortable read for newly independent readers who like to read about what happens to other kids their own age, how those kids feel, and what they do about their challenges.

Directions to make your own Princess Hat complete the fun.

Perfect for Heart/Home/Friends Forever
