In Ned's Head

Ned is navigating the waters of girls and friends and being a guy by writing in his secret diary under the name of Treb. This really reminded me of Diary of a Wimpy Kid because he is so unsure of himself. Ned or Treb has his eye on a cute girl named Rebecca but can't admit publicly that he likes her because it isn't cool. Another guy in his grade, Nugget, seems to have it all together. He is experienced. He has smoked and he has kissed seven girls on the ear. On Tuesday he is going to buy a hickey for a quarter from a seventh grade girl who sells them. On Ned trudges dealing with true love, finding out about not so true love, the world of glasses, and all the other challenges of an eleven year old boy.
