Meet Zoey the chicken with a dream!  She and her best pal, Sam the pig, are about to rocket off into space.  For Sam it's less about science and more about lunch.  Leave before lunch?  Leave before pie?  Too late...when Zoey has an idea, she cannot be stopped.

The two friends invite other barnyard animals to join them on their mission into the great beyond but Claire and Henry have reasons why they can't make the trip...for one, there is apparently no ship to travel in.

Zoey sees each problem as an opportunity.  She is a chicken on a mission.  If you use your imagination and think positive thoughts, you can go on the most amazing journeys and accomplish the most incredible things.  It also helps to have a friend who is a chicken named Zoey.

From Harper Collins:

Zoey isn’t like the other chickens. She has dreams. She has plans. And she has a best friend, Sam the pig, who will join her on her wild adventures . . . if he gets to eat some pie along the way.

How will Zoey and Sam get from the barn to the stars? Will Zoey be the first chicken in space? Will Sam get a snack? One thing is certain: Zoey always finds a way.

Author Adam Lehrhaupt and illustrator Shahar Kober bring out-of-this-world energy and humor to this bright, funny tale of imagination, friendship, determination . . . and one truly adventurous chicken.
