He doesn’t want to charge down the hill and leap off the road, hoping to land safely on the other side. Yikes! There’s a bit of The Little Engine That Could in this book and a bit of worrying about when to risk and when to stay safe. Jon Scieszka knows that there are some young listeners out there who are looking for a certain amount of intensity in their books and he is writing directly for that group. So, if your young'un won't sit still for just any book, I urge you to take a look at this series. They may be just the thing to capture the attention of that wiggle worm.
