Hollywood here they come! They promise they’re not leaving Ghastly forever – just long enough to go to Hollywood and become movie stars. That’s the news from Spence Mansion, where Ignatius B. Grumply, Olive C. Spence, and Seymour Hope are packing their bags and preparing for the trip of a lifetime after receiving an offer from Moe Block Busters, Hollywood’s most successful filmmaker, to produce a movie based on 43 Old Cemetery Road.  (taken from The Ghastly Times)

Film producer Mow Block Busters wants to make a movie our of the serial 43 Old Cemetery Road, written by Ignatius B. Grumply and ghost Olive C. Spence, and illustrated by their adopted son Seymour Hope. Olive is against the movie, but Ignatius and Seymour can’t wait to get to Hollywood.  They soon find out that there will be changes to their story, changes that none of the have agreed upon. Olive comes out to Hollywood to straighten things out. This is a delightful addition to the series that is told through a series of letters, advertisements and the local newspaper of Ghastly, Illinois. Readers enjoy the play on words as the names of the characters describe them.
