Limpy, the cane toad, has a whole new quest in this hilarious sequel to Toad Rage. This time Limpy is going in search of a place where his family can live without fear of being driven over or attacked by environmentalists and the rest of the human species all of whom seem to have it in for his kind. So, off goes Limpy accompanied by his sister and his cousin to find that Eden that must be out there somewhere. Along the way, trouble finds them in the shape of fire ants, crocodiles and human beings. The adventure is delightful and the bathroom humor will entertain the same crew who will laugh uproariously at the dead relatives squashed magnificently on the road. It's a tough life being a cane toad. Great fun in Australia and perfect for reluctant readers. 208 pages Ages 8-10
