Tiny, the giant dog, and his friend, a little boy, love the snow. They are headed out with sled in tow for a day of play. They will both don their new hats. Once outside hide and seek begins. You the reader get to find the little smidges of Tiny that are showing on the double spread. Where is Tiny? Can you find him? The little boy looks everywhere and I'm sure plenty of young readers and listeners will be saying, "Look, he's right there, " with a hope that the little boy in the picture can hear them. Tiny eventually shows up with a great big slurp. The reassuring presence of this giant caretaker lends a wonderful element to an early reader and the simply drawn, cheerful pictures add to the warmth and feeling of togetherness. 32 pages Ages 4-7 Viking Easy-to-Read Level 1
