A new vampirate ship is roaming the seas. This ship is sailed by a crew of females and is led by Lady Lola Lockwood. They follow Sidario and his vampirate ship as they go from town to town to feast. They intercept Jez and Johnny and get them to tell where the next stop is for Sidoraio’s ship and then beat them to their feasts each night.
When both ships finally meet up one night, Lady Lockwood and Sidorio seem to hit it off. Could they be falling in love? And if so what could this mean for the quickly growing evil group of Vampirates? Meanwhile Grace accompanies her mother back to Crescent Moon Bay to see where she grew up. While there, Grace learns more of her background and where she and Connor came from. But what she learns is not what she wants to hear and now she has to learn how to accept the truth.
Connor is now a member of Chang Li’s new pirate ship and they are commissioned to find and kill all the Vampirates out on the sea after some of the pirates from the academy were murdered by Lady Lockwood and her crew. This leaves Connor with mixed emotions because he knows that Grace is on the Nocturne which is a peaceful group of Vampirates who just want to live their lives alone.
Can Connor follow through and kill Lady Lockwood and help track down the other Vampirates or will his feelings for his sister change his mind?
